Spring is a season, a jump, a tightly wound coil. It's a beginning. The blossom buds, the guppies, the warming; summed up, hope.
Spring is hope. A new generation. The chance to improve. The fresh smells. Sun rays of promise that all can be better. No more worries of pipes freezing. When walking the dog is true joy. The pleasure of slowing your pace just to extend your time outside. Looking for a reason to say hi to a neighbor rather than avoid.
Spring is the beginning, when we are young and naive. We can try and fail and try again, mistakes are forgiving. Our soul gets replenished, recharged, invigorated. The soil softens, we bury the hatchet. We get busy, in a good way. We get fit. We get ready. We improve.
We get lighter. Lighter in body, lighter in mind, greater in spirit. We produce. Houses, ships, murals, babies, ideas, we make it all.
St Patrick's a parade, Easter a hunt, Passover a beginning. We till the land and sow the seeds.
The birds sing loudly, the bees awaken, sprouts sprout, it feels good inside and out.
Spring is Hope.
